Co-op St Budeaux Tamar House
Welcome to the Co-op St Budeaux Tamar House, an inviting stop located at 2 Victoria Road, Plymouth. This branch of the Co-op family combines a spacious shopping environment with the convenience of everyday essentials. It proudly serves the St Budeaux community and beyond, while offering an appealing selection of goods.
Customers have varying opinions on their experiences here. Some, like Paul Davidson, appreciate the store's more open layout compared to typical corner shops, highlighting a wider selection of items and notably fresh produce. With the availability of quality meats and occasional good deals, Paul often finds it a reliable shopping destination. Meanwhile, the friendly and helpful staff contribute positively to the atmosphere.
However, the store hasn't escaped criticism, as Madeleine Pope points out its somewhat run-down state. She describes the ambiance as dark and in need of renovation, suggesting that the space could benefit greatly from an upgrade. Concerns about security measures for items like meat also reflect an aspect that could discourage shoppers.
Others, like GEW JAMES, had less favorable experiences due to stock shortages, noting that even basic items like milk can sometimes be unavailable. As essential as customer service is, consistent inventory is crucial for a successful shopping trip.

In summary, Co-op St Budeaux Tamar House serves as a mixed bag for shoppers. While it offers a practical layout and a range of products, it does face criticism for maintenance and stock consistency. The warmth and assistance provided by the staff are appreciated, yet an overhaul might be what the store needs to elevate its image and customer satisfaction levels. Your experience may vary, but it remains a staple for many in the local area.

The staff are helpful and polite but thats were any positives for this store end.I have never been a fan of this shop. It is very run down dark/depressing and needs a huge overhaul.Wolsley Road/Stoke and Albert Rd have all been updated in recent years but not this one but then I think it says a lot about a shop/customers when meat products are being sold in sealed solid plastic security cases!!Frustratingly I have been forced to use this store as the CooP have recently closed a smaller, very well utilised store near to my home. The sale of that store was reportedly done as a means to increase the footfall here, However it appears the store can not cope with the extra demand. Several times I have been in to store and can’t get even basic fresh food items. Not only is this frustrating I am now no longer able to simply walk to a local shop I have to drive and this store has no car park/limited parking around it. Therefore I am now having to drive a further miles to pick up essential food items. Not very green or community minded which I thought was CoOps ethos?!

I like to shop in here because unlike a lot of coop corner shops that are cramped. This one is more spacious and has a bigger selection of goods. It is well layed out and I usually know where to go to get what I want. You can on occasions get some good deals and offers. Veg and fruit are usually quite fresh. As is their meat selections. Usually the staff are quite pleasant and helpful. And normally not a long wait to get served. I believe it's one of the most popular here and is used by many people. Visit you won't be disappointed.

I used the post office which was situated in Co-op, I needed to renew my photo license. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The only problem was parking which is why it is only a star review. I parked on the road behind it, but it was a single yellow line, so I rushed and it was a very busy road.

Sadly on this occasion I can't give the Coop in St. Budeaux because though the staff member was very polite and helpful, on this occasion they did not have any pints blue top milk, in fact they didn't have much milk in stock as even by : pm they hadn't had a stock delivery in store. If they had the product I was wanting, I would have given them stars.
